Shimla Winter Carnival 2024 : Complete Information

After a successful Shimla Winter Carnival last year, the Shimla municipal corporation is back with Shimla Winter Carnival 2024. The carnival is set to transform the Queen of Hills into a vibrant hub of cultural festivities and winter delights. Shimla Winter Carnival is scheduled from December 24, 2024, to January 2, 2025.

Cultural Performances

The carnival will be showcasing the rich traditions of various parts of Himachal Pradesh through captivating local dances, music, and art forms. Additionally, celebrated artists from Punjab and other states, invited via the North Zone Cultural Centre (NZCC), Patiala, will bring a vibrant and diverse cultural flair to the festivities.

Star night

Shimla Winter Carnival will also be having start night where people like Nati king kudeep sharma and other famous Himachali singers like Arun justa and other will be performing. Punjabi singer Satinder Sartaj is also booked by the municipal corporation.

Fashion show

The carnival will be having fashion show for youth as well as elderly people

Voice of Shimla Competition.A highlight of the carnival, this talent hunt provides aspiring artists a golden opportunity to showcase their skills and gain well-deserved recognition.

Student Participation

The iconic Mall Road and The Ridge will sparkle with enchanting decorative lights, setting the perfect festive mood. Visitors will be greeted with traditional Himachali music at entrance gates, adding to the warm and joyful atmosphere.

A delightful array of stalls will feature Himachali delicacies and handcrafted items, giving visitors a chance to indulge in local flavors and take home unique souvenirs.
